Farm to Fork: The future of EU agriculture
In this week's episode we are discussing the impact of the Farm to Fork Strategy.
The European Commission proposed Farm to Fork and it is expected to set certain targets, including cutting pesticide use in half and reducing the use of mineral fertilisers by 20 percent.
But - what will be the impact of these measures both on farmers and on consumers?
Our host Chris Burns looked for the answer to this question with a Finnish farmer, Susanna Suonio, Herbert Dorfmann MEP and Prof. Dr. Christian Henning, who has done an actual study on the impact of the Farm to Fork Strategy.
